Little known gem! Best refried beans anywhere!
I got #02, the sampler deluxe Mexican plate. Comes with enough food for an army!!! -

First off the staff is very friendly and welcoming and cute "The Girls are"... Now they say that there is a taco war between Austin & San Antonio...Really?? That's like saying that Iceland has the best soul food ...To me the culture who started the food is the King of the food and all of Austin and America other cultures tey to mimic the foods from other cultures..Anyways these tacos had a real Mexican Authentic taste and texture to them. The meat was plentiful Unlike other taco restaurants. I would highly Recommend this place if you visit San Antonio .

Food was extremely overcooked and it had a day old taste about it. Told them and they did told me that it was supposed to be like that.
It was so bad that I could not eat it. -

"Best enchiladas in town!" The sign is very clearly stated outside of the business. I think it should be changed though to "cheapest enchiladas in town!" Because they are cheap! -but the best? Not so much.
I came in on a Saturday and the staff is very friendly, which was nice. Being greeted with a smile and someone patiently waiting for me to look over the menu was is always nice in a restaurant.
Almost everything on the menu is crazy affordable! I was almost shocked by how low the prices were- which is great to keep people coming back time and time again.
I ordered the enchilada plate, since they claim to have the best, and was a little disappointed when they arrived. They weren't terrible, but they weren't that great either. The plate, which was $5 or less if I recall) came with rice, beans AND tortillas. Which is insane for $5! Everything was just okay though. It didn't have much taste.
This place would be perfect to visit after a night of drinking when someone is wanting to absorb the leftover booze in their system....or if you want a cheap meal, but don't go for flavor. -

This place was recommended to us for their Tortilla Soup. I must say this was a great recommendation! Good amount of chicken and spicy but not to spicy.
